Greetings!

I figured now would be as good a time as any to join the forum and, after a bit of a mishap with the registration process, I finally did it. I've been viewing these boards since I discovered them over a year ago (by googling Newspeak Dictionary, how else? Smile ), and so I am no stranger to the forum.

That being said, the idea to register came while thinking about/witnessing the flame war between Q/Android and Mephi/Rasta/Sorianofan. Since the motto of my home state and the story behind it (though I reside there no longer) accurately reflected my trip towards becoming a thoughtcriminal here, I decided I should finally join the online community that had provided me with much to think about since I discovered it.

That being said, my registration differs with that of my state with one thing: I will NOT be choosing a side in the flame war (or is it finished?).

http://forums.newspeakdictionary.com/viewtopic.php?t=3474

Anyhoo, I look forward to participating in the discussions that I have long enjoyed.

HELLO WORLD. BB! BB! BB!

Ah, I never was really a lurker, I joined almost as soon as I found this place (I don't even remember how I found this place).

The first thread you viewed on the day you registered was this one. But you briefly visited the main page a few days before that. However, I'm not sure how you actually found the site (the logs don't show a referer for your first visit),.

While I do not know what place it was when I first ventured in, it must have been on the first page or so, as it attracted my attention.

I rechecked it today, and BB's site has achieved its rightful place at the top of the search.

Google is doubleplusgood!
