I am heartened to hear you're no college teacher just yet. DD

you misconstrue... i understand what those words mean.
what i asked was, what do you mean by them?
what im trying to point out to you (but i dont know why i bother) is that you hide behind terms which are entirely of a relative and derivative nature as if their verbal pronunciation were authority enough itself to settle all arguments (If that were the case, most debates would be concluded in instants).PP

Advertising Age). They sold his image rather than his message; and managed to avoid any debate with those who would truly have highlighted Obama's shortcomings.#

# so what, bills have to be paid, the presidential candidate has to be promoted, what do you expect government charity and free space from the networks?

lol... *scratches head* &&&.... the point (which you dont even dispute) was that Obama was advertised and sold on the basis of image & rhetoric (as opposed to substance & fact)$$$$.

The netwhoreks ??? can spend as much money as they like promoting their propaganda; ****

it's up to the individual to make sure they make their choice based on quality of the message rather than how many times it is broadcast on prime-time tv. #

Ultimately the power (and thus responsibility) lies not with the politician and the mind-control techniques FF,

but with the gullible voter. YOU, along with hundreds of millions of others have obviously swallowed hook, line and sinker and cannot even recognise the fact.

i refer you to my other post... it's not about changing anything overnight... but about restoring the sovereignty of the Constitution.. that is the key issue$.

If it had been seen to,

Bush and Cheney would be in put on trial and more than likely imprisoned (due to illegal war in Iraq, illegal spying and illegal use of torture,

and perhaps more),

the candidates' debates would be open to all,

not just Reps and Dems **, and the

Fed cartel would be shut down.

And no, that wasn't a sign of feigned misunderstanding... more like a sign of puzzlement at your levels of incoherence and ignorance... note that you missed the point hence i dont waste time answering irrelevant (rhetorical) questions..

yeah, i do think its rather unfortunate that people can't see it for what it is. But if you're actually happy with a president who wins an election because of his rhetoric & image rather than his policy, you fully deserve what you got. wanna be an ignorant prole? YES YOU CAN!

Split the democratic vote the republicans win

That sounds quite true, in general same happens in Britain. Nobody but really extreme views vote for third parties, instead of the bland vaguely-left, vaguely-right parties. Say somebody is extremely left, who are they going to vote for the communists or the democrats? Because voting communist (although might be their preferred option) would mean that Republicans have an extremely small fraction of an advantage and if loads (but not enough to bring in communist) do the same, Republicans win.

Left people would not like a Republican government so who can blame them from voting democrat as opposed to communist? Although just to divert attention to my politics section, I'm an anarchist because precisely that. The pettiness of the major parties, whether its the Democrats or Republicans of America, or the New Labour (old Conservative) or Conservative. Neither are my choice, given the choice I would have less government but try to maintain social policies like NHS.

Anyway on topic, Obama is the best of the dickheads. Easy enough to discount at an early stage, but give him a chance. Still relatively early in his term and let him lead. Wait for a year before the riots start and you all go calling out for his head to roll down the Capitol Building's steps
