I'm going to write a novel called Imperium. I was trying to sleep, and I entertained a thought I've been entertaining for months: to write a novel about the world-wide Roman Empire. A Roman Empire of the modern day, whose glory remains unmatched. A Roman Empire to span from Roma to Beijing to Roma again.

I'll need some help if I am to write this. I could use terminology and common military words, like decimate (to take away a tenth, or is it decimus?), gladius (Roman short-sword), Imperator (emperor), Imperium (empire), and etc. If anyone here knows Latin, I may need your help.

I've found the perfect Roman Anthem music.

Modified from my Civilization 3 files, I found this little-used gem. It sounds perfectly Roman.

I'd also like someone to help design a Roman standard flag. Not a standard, like the Nazi and Roman standards, but rather, a flag. I'd like it black, with a crown of olive leaves in the center or upper left-hand corner.

If you need any help with Latin, just PM me. I have a Latin dictionary, and in school, I've been taught Latin for three years, and I still have four Latin lessons a week, so I know quite a lot about Latin grammar.
