Any one else a little freaked out by the way the term "hater of America" is thrown around?
This administration puts McCarthy to shame.
Here is what I have gathered:
You are a hater of America if:
You are anti-war
You protest
You question the administration
You don't want to kick the worlds ass
Your anti-Imperialism
Your Michael Moore
You question anything
Does anyone else see the paralells between this kind of policy and Nazi Germany? Oh you don't hate Jews? What kind of German are you?
It used to be patriotic to qusetion the Govt. now it's patriotic to goose step to wal-mart and buy yellow ribbons. ( they should put those on the coffins that come home).
It's funny how the propaganda out there says the left want to control you, but who wrote the patriot act?
While were on the subject, why should a person love America? Is that something that is manditory or is it earned?
I mean what sounds more informed:
I love America because all people are welcome here to escape tyrany and opression.
or
I love Amercia (burp) because we kick ass! Love it or leave (burp ) it.
Their the bad guys (fart) and were the good guys.

Are you Michael Moore? If you are, best of luck. _________________ Why I don’t believe in “world peace”, by S. Poet
World peace would inevitably lead to lethargy of the human race and it’s eventual extinction. It’s adversity that fuels change; chaos is what moves things forward. It is not religion that fuels war, but opinion and individuality that drive people into conflict.
As long as humans are free to think and disagree there will be conflict and war. The individuality and uniqueness of free thought, that form the mote of the soul, are the causes of war. To end war you must destroy the human soul, you must cease to be human.
If there is nothing left to fight for, there is nothing left to live for. World peace is suicide.

The prohibitionist. Most of the provisions of the PATRIOT act were originally suggested in efforts to expand the drug war... but all had been beaten back by libertarians. All the PATRIOT act did was bundle all of these unconstitutional provisions into one package -- one which both Republicans and Democrats voted for. (Inlcuding John Kery)
The last time I checked, the offical party platfrom of the both factions of the Republicratic party is to continue the drug war. Don't believe that the "left" had nothing to do with this. They voted for it, didn't they? |

The Republicans want a corrupt capitalist world while the Democrats want a corrupt socialist world. I don't think I like either, but I'd rather be in the capitalist one any day. _________________

No, but my last name is Morris, maybe that's what's wrong?

The aims of the two factions of the Republicrat party are almost identical -- only in their rhetoric is there any difference. But in practice, both increase the power of the state and of their corporate donors. |
